Call 811 or use the online ticket-entry system, then wait your state’s required time for facility owners to mark their buried lines before you dig or move earth in any way. The wait time in Maine, Massachusetts, and New Hampshire is 72 hours (three full business days, excluding weekends and legal holidays).

To report gas emergencies, call 911 and Unitil at:
Maine: 866-900-4460
Former Bangor Natural Gas customers: 877-427-7991
Massachusetts: 866-542-3547
New Hampshire: 866-900-4115

For electrical emergencies, call 911 and Unitil at
888-301-7700.
